Where is Tibi-Libi?
Tibi-Libi is a hotel and restaurant in Abomey-Calavi, southern Benin, the town right next to Cotonou: near the military camp wall, on the road to the wholesale market. It is about a 30-minute drive from Cotonou airport.
How do I book a room?
Send your request from the website or directly on WhatsApp at +229 01 97 22 61 17. The team replies within 24 hours with availability, then confirms your stay once a 50% deposit is received.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Cash (in FCFA) and cheques. Bank cards and Mobile Money are not accepted yet, so please bring cash. A booking is confirmed with a 50% deposit. Bookings cannot be cancelled: if you withdraw, the hotel keeps the deposit.
What time can I check in and check out?
You can arrive and leave at any hour: reception is open 24/7, even in the middle of the night. A night runs until 1 pm the next day.
Do you speak English?
The team speaks French and uses a translation tool to welcome English-speaking guests.
How much does a room cost?
The Standard room is 30,000 FCFA per night (about €46 / $53) and the Confort room 40,000 FCFA per night (about €61 / $70), breakfast included for one person. Stays of 5 nights or more paid in advance get 10% off.
What types of rooms do you have?
Tibi-Libi has 40 rooms in two categories: 25 Standard rooms for up to 2 guests, and 15 more spacious Confort rooms for 3 to 4 guests depending on the room. Every room has air conditioning, a desk, a TV and free 5G Wi-Fi.
Is the restaurant open to non-guests?
Yes. The main restaurant seats 55 and holds up to 100 for receptions, every day from 11 am to 10 pm, serving African and European food. Right next door, a smaller, more intimate restaurant seats up to 20.
Can I host a wedding or an event?
Yes. Tibi-Libi has a conference room (up to 150 people in conference layout, 50 at round tables, with projector, screen and sound system), a catering service for weddings, receptions, birthdays and communions, and both restaurants can be hired privately.
Is the swimming pool open to the public?
Yes. The pool is open to the public from 8 am to 7 pm while the lifeguard is on duty, for 2,000 FCFA entry. Hotel guests who can swim have access 24/7, except while the water is being treated. It can be hired privately for up to 200 people around the pool.
